Kohima, Nagaland : Indian Army, as part of its ongoing efforts to support and improve the well-being of underprivileged IDP camp residents, organised a medical camp at Lamlai in Imphal East district of Manipur for Internally Displaced People on 01 December 2024. The medical camp provided basic and essential healthcare services to the residents, including consultations, health check-ups and medicines.
A dedicated team of Army doctors, 04 civil healthcare professionals included Dermatologist, Paediatric and ENT specialist and volunteers from the local area were present at the camp to offer comprehensive medical assistance. The camp covered a wide range of medical services, addressing common health concerns and providing preventive care for various ailments.
Over 450 IDP camp residents got benefitted, including 225 ladies and 150 children.
