Army Provides Medical Assistance in Churachandpur

Kohima, Nagaland : In its continuous efforts towards community outreach with local population, the Indian Army organised a medical camp in S Nabil village of Churachandpur district in Manipur on 06 January 2025. The village is located in the lower reaches, east of the Thanjing Ridge, the camp extended medical assistance to the residents of S Nabil and adjoining villages, benefiting over 200 locals of all age groups.

A team of Army doctors and nursing staff conducted comprehensive health check-ups, provided consultations and treatments. To ensure follow-up care, a medicine distribution counter was set up, providing essential medications to patients post-consultation.

This initiative highlights the unwavering commitment of Defence Forces towards supporting local communities amidst ongoing challenges in the region and its dedication to promote health, well-being and public welfare.
