Kohima, Nagaland : In a significant step toward promoting health and hygiene among the local populace, the Indian Army organised a Medical Camp at Moirangpurel village in Imphal East district of Manipur, to extend essential healthcare services, raise awareness about comprehensive hygiene practices and carry out health checkups for the local populace.
The camp included health screenings, consultations and distribution of medicines for 216 residents including 93 women and 39 children. The camp was conducted by Army doctors, who provided comprehensive counseling, and guidance on mental health, nutrition and safe hygiene practices.
