CHENNAI : Safran Data Systems (SDS) India, a leader in testing, telemetry and simulation solutions for the aerospace, defense and automotive sectors, has announced the inauguration of its new office in Chennai. This cutting-edge facility will serve as a major hub for design and development, addressing the surging demand within the sector. The facility was jointly inaugurated by Mr B Krishnamoorthy,(@ b Krishnamoorthy )Special Secy of Govt of Tamilnadu & Mr JS Gavankar (@ja Gavankar)CEO of Safran India in the gracious presence of Mr Noel Ballot( @noel ballot) EVP SDS France & Mr Vinod Mathew ( @vinod Mathew) MD SDS India.

This strategic expansion allows Safran to tap into Chennai’s exceptional pool of engineering talent as we drive forward our mission to deliver world-class solutions locally and foster innovation in India. Inaugurating the facility Mr JS Gavankar said “SDS is the niche which will assist Indian Space Ecosystem to scale up with full support by Safran under Make In India”.
Mr B Krishnamoorthy stated that “Tamilnadu is willing to support such high technology initiative and will help Safran get the right talent, local support and testing & certification ecosystem under TIDCO umbrella”.
