Kohima, Nagaland : Indian Army organized a medical camp at Hengjang village, Leimakhong in Manipur. The event provided essential healthcare services and dental checkup with minor surgeries. 415 residents including 180 women, 143 children & 92 elderly attended the camp and availed the facilities of health checkup, consultation, treatment and received medicines from a dedicated team of Army doctors.
Deputy GOC, Red Shield Division visited the Medical Camp and interacted with locals. In an attempt to empower the villagers, health-care aids like blood pressure monitors, glucometers, walking sticks alongwith physiotherapy equipment were provided to the sub-centre at Leimakhong.
The initiative Army’s the commitment and concern towards serving the community in all possible manners.
