Kohima, Nagaland : Based on specific information, the Indian Army and Assam Rifles in coordination with the Assam Police apprehended a notorious NSCN (K-YA) cadre named David Konyak from Namtola, Charaideo district of Assam on 22 December 2024.
The security forces were on a lookout for this individual who was involved in numerous extortion and abduction related activities along the bordering areas of Assam and Nagaland.
The apprehended individual has been handed over to the police for further investigation.
